I am a travel agent in Texas.  I got a question from a client asking if travel is permitted to the Virgin Islands and which, if any, resorts are open.  Can you give me an answer to those questions?

      Dear Carol,

      Thank you for contacting us.

The safety of residents of and visitors to the U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) is our priority as we work together to minimize the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The coronavirus pandemic is unprecedented. At this time, the Territory is operating under a phased reopening plan. It is anticipated that Leisure Travel restrictions will be lifted on June 1, 2020, but we are continuously evaluating our policies.

Kindly see the following notices that provide the most current information pertaining to the Territory’s COVID-19 response:

      Information for Leisure Travelers (https://bit.ly/2ye202R)
Information for Marine Vessels and Passengers (https://bit.ly/35uiCiW)
      Safer-At-Home Guidelines (https://bit.ly/2L5rSk6)

We encourage everyone to stay safe, stay at home, and continue to monitor usviupdate.com.
