My home state of Washington has never been close to 10% positivity rate but now due to problems posting negative test results the rate has spiked to 100% which is clearly not correct. How will this affect our requirement to produce a negative test result for an 8/20 arrival?
Any traveler aged 15 and older whose home state (state of residence) has a Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) positivity rate greater than 10 percent will be required to produce a negative COVID-19 antigen (molecular/PCR/rapid) test result received within five days prior to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands or a positive COVID-19 antibody test result received within four months of travel to the Territory.
As Washington currently is on the list of states for which the U.S. Virgin Islands requires travelers to take a COVID-19 test for entry into the Territory, all travelers aged 15 and older from Washington are required to take a test for entry.
Travelers unable to produce the required test result will be subject to quarantine for 14 days, or until they are able to receive the required test result while in the Territory.
Please note that all travelers to the U.S. Virgin Islands must complete a prescreening form to provide basic information regarding your travel to and stay in the Territory. The portal can be accessed at http://www.usviupdate.com/travelportal.

What states are required to have a positive covid test upon entering? Please help–traveling from Louisiana to Virgin Islands on Thursday Aug 20.
As of today, Louisiana is not on the list of states for which the U.S. Virgin Islands requires travelers to produce a test result.
Positivity rates are according to data and analysis from Johns Hopkins University: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/testing/tracker/overview
COVID-19 test results are also required from travelers aged 15 and older who have spent more than seven days in and are traveling from a state with a positivity rate greater than 10 percent.
COVID-19 tests are recommended, but not required, for travelers aged 15 and older whose home states have positivity rates greater than 7.5 percent. This is to ensure travelers are prepared for possible “spikes” in rates while preparing for travel.
Travelers unable to produce the required test result will be subject to quarantine for 14 days, or until they are able to receive the required test result while in the Territory.

Hello!
So we have a reservation for Saint Thomas planned on August 21th. We are coming from NY and I understand since the percentage of less 10%, we do not have to make the test.
However, I got the information that there is a new rule : starting on August 17th, all the travel to USVI are restricted to business and government travels. Is that true ?
Thank you.

Can you anyone assist and let me know what the deal is out there with travel right now?
