Are incoming travelers to the V.I. required to quarantine and for how long?

      Dear S.J.,

      Thank you for contacting us.

Travelers who use the USVI Travel Screening Portal and submit an acceptable COVID-19 test result prior to travel are not required to quarantine upon arrival in the Territory.

We encourage you to stay safe and continue to monitor https://www.usviupdate.com for additional information and guidance.

    Hello,
Three members of my family have had both shots of the Moderna vaccinations. I see in your update we still need to get a test 5 days prior to travel to St. John. Is this true? Someone told me the vaccination was enough?
    Thank you for your reply.

      Dear Jennifer,

      Thank you for contacting us.

Like other destinations experiencing this unprecedented pandemic, the Territory continues to evaluate its policies. All guidance is subject to the Executive Orders of Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination does not supersede the COVID-19 testing requirement. Travelers who have received COVID-19 vaccinations are required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal (www.usvitravelportal.com) and submit a COVID-19 test result prior to travel.

We encourage you to stay safe and continue to monitor https://www.usviupdate.com for additional information and guidance.

      Dear Linda,

      Thank you for contacting us.

The process of submitting COVID-19 test results to the USVI Travel Screening Portal (www.usvitravelportal.com) may be completed at any time during the five-day window prior to commencement of travel to the USVI. We encourage travelers to begin the Travel Screening Portal process as soon as possible after receiving test results, but not before test results have been received.

Submitted test results must be valid, clear and legible, identify the patient, the lab/testing facility/blood donor organization, the date of test (collection date), the type of test, and the result.

The general turnaround time for receiving a response from the Travel Screening Portal is up to 48 hours. If you have not received a response after 48 hours, please check your Junk, Spam or Promotions folders.

After completing your submission, you can track its status by using this link: https://usvitravelportal.com/tracking-application, or you may email travelportal@usvitravelportal.com with any questions or concerns.

We encourage you to stay safe and continue to monitor https://www.usviupdate.com for additional information and guidance.
