2 Responses to Key Takeaways from Government House weekly press briefing and COVID-19 update (April 6, 2021)

ON 14 April 2021, I was told by a pharmacy employee that gives Rapid Covid-19 testing that we no longer need to be tested for Covid-19 if we have been vaccinated, and are traveling to the US Virgin Islands. Is this true? The USVI website does not agree with the pharmacy’s statement.
Like other destinations experiencing this unprecedented pandemic, the Territory continues to evaluate its policies. All guidance is subject to the Executive Orders of Government of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination does not supersede the COVID-19 testing requirement. Travelers who have received COVID-19 vaccinations are required to use the USVI Travel Screening Portal (www.usvitravelportal.com) and submit a COVID-19 test result prior to travel.
We encourage you to stay safe and continue to monitor http://www.usviupdate.com for additional information and guidance.
